Rico absolutely adores his Tough Plush giraffe plushie, and he was wiggle-butting as soon as it came out of the box. He is a squeaker fiend, so I'm especially glad to have a tough, triple-layered, double-stitched toy around that can last us awhile! So far, all of the stitches are in place, and even our border collie can't break through this toy! They both love it.
Great toy. It will last about a week or two for a golden retriever. Last longer then any other stuffed animal I tried. Better then having chewy up furniture or items
Can't find the large zebra in stores so I ordered it online. It'll last about 2 solid weeks like the hippo and elephant. He is not a heavy chewer but a chewer regardless. Sometimes a month depending how long it takes him to empty the fillings. (I vacuum it up I don't mind)
This is Odin, he absolutely love his hippo. He has had his hippo for like a year and a half, even though he has destroyed so many toys this hippo just somehow survives. Definitely recommend these toys for any dog owner.
My dog chewed through this in less than 5 minutes I would not recommend this toy for tough chewers as it says. Absolutely not impressed.
I had high hopes that this toy would last more than 1 day for my 11 month old aggressive chewer. I was wrong. As you can see in the picture, he ripped through the advertised triple stitching. Very disappointed.
My Coco usually chews the squeaker out in just a few minutes. I've read reviews stating their dog ripped right through them I'm not sure how. My dog has NEVER had any toy for more than an hour, and she received this toy for her birthday on 3/15. Today is 3/28 and the toy has no holes in it and it still squeaks! She loves this toy so much, that she carries it with her every where she goes. Even when she eats this toy is taken with her an dkept close by.
This giraffe plush is the perfect mix of cute and tough. My pup immediately grabbed it and started playing. It feels well-made and reinforced, which gives me more confidence compared to standard plush toys. It’s held up well during playtime so far. If you’re looking for something soft but more durable than typical plush toys, this is a great option.
Toby is obsessed with his giraffe tough plush!! He carries it with him from room to room. I’d say it’s a hit. Seems durable too!
Bought the Gnaw Guard Tough Plush Elephant. Within 10 minutes my German Shepherd/Pittie mix was down to the stuffing! I thought it would last a bit longer. Although in reading reviews, it seems the other animals don't get demolished a easy as the Elephant. I guess I should have read reviews first. Any chance of getting a different animal instead of the elephant?
I've purchase four of this line of toys. Elephant is the only one that has come apart after a few minutes of play. The others are holding their own with three playful German Shorthaired Pointers.
Our puppy LOVES these toys and we have the whole zoo! She is a mega chewer and we needed something she wouldn't tear through within the first hour. The problem is specific parts on each one. She'll get to the stuffing through the elephant's tusks (but they can be cut off), the hippo's eyes (when this happens, we throw it away), and the giraffe's and zebra's mane (but we give them a good hair cut before giving her a new one). If we can get away with those issues, the lining around the legs lasts a few weeks. We do keep a backup for this happens. Our puppy can't sleep without Ellie the Elephant!

Having a giant breed puppy means we need strong chew toys that will hold up and we found it with Spunky Pups tough guard. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a toy that will last for heavy chewers.
This is the first toy we’ve gotten our heeler that she hasn’t been able to completely destroy within 10 mins. She very quickly got the ears and tail off, but she hasn’t been able to tear anything else up. She absolutely loves this toy. She’s so proud of her stuffy and carries it everywhere, even sleeps with it.
This is the first stuffed toy Sophie did not destroy in one day. She has chewed a hole in the tail but that’s it! Best toy for a dog that is an expert at squeakerectomy’s and stuffing removal.
The size of the toy (the hippo) is perfect for my catahoula and I honestly think this is the most fun she has had with a stuffed toy. However, it lasted about 20 minutes before the seam on the back was open and stuffing was all over the floor. Outside of the seam on the back, I would say it's an amazing toy for a dog that plays rougher with toys.
I can’t say enough good things about these tough plush toys! I have two cattle dogs that love to destroy their toys, but these ones LAST. The hippo in this picture is after having it for 2 weeks. It’s missing its ears and eyeballs but otherwise has LASTED!! And they still play with it daily!! BEST TOY.
It is really well built. I chew through stuffed animals pretty quickly but I’m still working on this one after a week.
My boy is notorious for tearing apart stuffed toys within the first day of getting them and it’s gotten to a point where I don’t get him more toys and he’s more than happy playing with the skin of whatever toy he destroyed (we call them his carcasses). However I got this toy for him for Christmas and it’s still standing strong! Has a couple tears out of the eyes and seams but he’s yet to rip the fuzz out. Longest standing toy he’s had other than bones and hard toys. It’s now his favorite and even knows it by name and has learned to bring his boar to bed with him. Will be getting all 4 :)
Having 2 Giant breed dogs who prefer softer toys always has given us a challenge to find something that lasts! This guy is still going strong for 1 full week of play! Super happy with the quality and size!
Sophie loves her zebra. It is standing up to this little girl's chewing and toy shredding abilities. Thank you. We will definitely get her some more.
My dog loves the tough Zebra toy! It feels super durable and has held up well so far!
We have a tough chewer so we supervise playtime with stuffed toys and limit the time spent on stuffed toys. Luna has been able to chew and toss her zebra toy for hours so far with minimal damage! I do think if we just let her tear it up, she would but it would still take more time compared to other stuffed toys.
I love that this is a harder to chew up toy! My girl loves tearing the fluff out of toys and so far she hasn’t been able to with this one!
The zebra lasted a day...significantly longer than the elephant. Well loved while it lasted.
It lasted about an hour, before my shepherd Cur had the squeaker and most of the stuffing out, but they enjoyed it while it lasted.
We received the zebra from Pupfluence to try. This zebra is really pretty durable. I've got some heavy chewers and so far she hasn't torn it up. It could be because she likes it but it really seems well made.
She likes it seems pretty tough my German Sheppard has not destroyed it yet
Was hoping it will hold up better - my 4 month old lab already has tore into it but it lasted more than one day unlike all the other toys so…..

We have an Australian Cattle Dog who is a very aggressive chewer. The Giraffe and Zebra are the best. They withstand the heavy chewing, and the occasional tug-of-war. These toys are definitely worth the price.
Yes they are tough but this is his 3rd Zebra but I will admit it takes him a while before I have to replace it. He carries it around as his "baby."
Aspen is having a blast with her new Spunky Zebra toy. Toys usually don’t last long with her, but this zebra is still standing strong.
We first purchased the hippo and the giraffe. Hippo lost an ear early on but is otherwise unscathed after months of playing with three enthusiastic German Shorthaired Pointers. Giraffe is still going strong too. We purchased Zebra and Elephant next. Elephant had a split seem on his head within minutes, but Zebra is super tough. These are my dogs' favorite toys. I'm amazed that they haven't been able to remove the squeakers.
Has held up to three German Shorthaired Pointers playing tug without any sign of wear. They love this toy.
So far, so good. It really is tough and is standing up to my puppy's rough play.

Super durable! Our pit-bull Moose shreds every toy he gets in minutes, even the ones that claim to be “chew-resistant.” He’s never had a stuffed toy last more than a day. It’s been about a week now and his Giraffe is still going strong! He absolutely loves it!

I have a few toys from Spunk Pup and my miniature dachshund LOVES them! They are great quality and so cute! I love that they have tough toys as well for the chewers. I’d recommend really any toy from them.

My Australian labradoodle Maverick loves toys from Spunky Pup. With unique designs and textures he plays with them for hours. The bolt is his favorite and it is still in perfect condition even with his tough chewing!

Toby loves this toy so much. He wont give it up and cuddles with it daily. When we went on a trip, he only wanted to bring this toy with him. Highly recommend this toy & company for all the dogs!
